The fact that her breath gets better at the vet is pretty common actuallywhen theyre at home theyre not usually panting and salivating excessively so the bad odor in the mouth builds upbut when theyre at the vet theyre often panting and salivatingwhich essentially rinses out the mouth making it smell better at that momentonce the dog returns home and the breathingsalivating returns to normal the bad breath. This very serious condition occurs when the adrenal glands produce too much cortisol a hormone produced by the body.
